Congratulations, and thank you, to Dr. Simon and the entire ThinkFirst ONS Foundation Chapter! We know you will be successful in your prevention efforts in Fairfield County.
The tragedy of the types of injuries sustained by the VIP (Voices for Injury Prevention)speakers mentioned in the article, is what led America's neurosugeons to found our great organization nearly 25 years ago, when it was known as the National Head and Spinal Cord Injury Prevention Program. Since then, we have become the ThinkFirst (National Injury Prevention)Foundation, and expanded to include international chapters. We are pleased to have the ONS Foundation among our newest chapters, and though founded by neurosurgeons who often do act as the sponsoring physicians for a chapters as Dr. Scott does, physicians from other disciplines are welcome to act as that capacity as well.
Best wishes in all your future endeavors!Sincerely,
Diane Ciambrone, Assistant to the Executive Director, ThinkFirst Foundation
