Friday, September 25th, 2009
This fall, fellowship-trained orthopedists and sports medicine physicians from ONS at 6 Greenwich Office Park, will present a number of free lectures, open to the public in the Greenwich area. Topics to be covered range from “ways to stay out of the doctor’s office” to hip arthroscopy to ski injury prevention. The events are sponsored by the Education Initiative of the ONS Foundation for Clinical Research and Education, a non-profit organization devoted to helping reduce injury rates and support active healthy living through community educational programs. Many of the lectures are held in conjunction with Community Health at Greenwich Hospital, including the annual Joint Replacement Symposium to be held November 5 at Greenwich Library. All of the events are free of charge, however registration is requested. For more information, visit www.ons-foundation.org.
ONS physicians are Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, the American Board of Neurological Surgery or the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Doctors hold advanced degrees in their area of specialty. The ONS Foundation sponsors youth sports injury prevention seminars for local youth athletes throughout the year. (more…)
